We are learning to describe 3-D shapes by their attributes.  In this lesson, we are looking a various kinds of food and identifying the attributes to determine which shape it is.

Easter Egg Hunt

Chicks

March was very cold month, but our hearts were warm with the hatching of our chicks.
We learned a lot about life cycles, how mother animals care for their young, animals that hatch from eggs and worked on sequencing skills.

Exploring the Number Grid

We are learning to recognize and write numbers to 100. Locating numbers on the number grid helps to develop our number sense!

Guess who is coming to our room????

We have been learning to infer or predict.  When we infer, we use word or picture clues and our schema to figure out something the author does not tell us.  Today we read clues and tried to infer who was going to be visiting our classroom this week. Here are the clues we read:

We read the first half of the clues and made a prediction. Then we read the rest of the clues.  You can see by our work, that many of us changed our inferences when we had more information.

St . Patrick's Day

On Friday we had fun getting ready for St. Patrick's Day.  This is the first of 2 videos that I will post to share all about our fun!
Tomorrow is the BIG day. We left our traps set up over the weekend and we'll get to see if we caught anything!
