Yesterday we wrapped up our unit on winter animals with hibernation day!
We hibernated and woke up pretty hungry to search for food. We even wrote a book about how to hibernate.

This week we continued to work on writing how to books.
We learned that the steps in our books need to be in sequential order so that they make sense. We have also learned about adding details to our text to give our readers more information. After we wrote about how to make hot chocolate, we had to read and follow each step!

Identifying Ending Sounds
This week we have been working to identify the ending sounds in words. We used this sort for independent practice of the skill. It was a great opportuntity to practice teamwork, as well!
