Bears in a Cave

This week we learned a new game that helped us develop fact fluency. We played with 10 bears and took turns hiding some of them in the cave (aka a cup). Our partners counted rest of the bears and used their math skills to determine how many bears were in the cave. You can play this game at home, too!

Valentine Slime!

Things got a little messy in our room on Friday!! With the help of our 5th grade buddies, we made valentine slime! The experience was well worth the mess!  :)   Valentine Slime!

Valentine Party!

Our Alphabet Book

Exploring Maps

Kindergarteners are always intrigued by maps! Last week we enjoyed taking some time to learn through exploration. 

3D Shape Hunt

Last week we learned to identify 3D shapes. We searched our classroom and found many examples to photograph in our environment. 

Habit 6 Synergize

Kindergarten leaders are learning the power of teamwork with our next habit--Synergize: Together is better! On Friday we did an activity, The Leaning Tower of Feetza,with our buddies that taught us this valuable lesson.
