Measuring with Nonstandard Units

This week we have been working on measuring with non-standard units.  We are learning to measure accurately. For example, we are practicing how to line the end of the object up with the units we are using to measure and to make sure we don't have gaps between the units.  When you click on the link, be sure to notice the intensity on some faces and excitement on others! Force and Motion

Yo-yos, tops, race cars, blocks, poppers, bouncy balls....what do they all have in common?

They are all great ways to explore force and motion!
